I like reading books about war dogs, shipwrecks, and lady aviators.
If you've been following along as I worked through this series, you already know I don't read much fantasy. I had to stretch my tastes a bit to get into these, but I'm glad I did. I'm also glad that this final installment wasn't such a complete downer like its predecessor was. Throughout the series, I was especially impressed by Laini Taylor's ability to introduce new characters, species, and aspects of her imagined world in a way that felt natural-- even those introduced late in the game.
Thanks for the recommendation, Lindsay!
