I like reading books about war dogs, shipwrecks, and lady aviators.

Heroes Are My Weakness: A Novel - Susan Elizabeth Phillips

I keep seeing this author recommended and I just can't figure out why. This was truly one of the most ridiculous books I've ever read. I can't believe I actually finished it. Everything about it-- the title, characters, plot/twists, the dialogue... all of it was absolutely absurd. I hate when I can't suss out even a thread of believability from a story. This one opens with the main character having a conversation with her collection of puppets, and it only spirals down from there. Oy.
